Ever Wanted to Build Your Own Successful Website?

Who Are We?

We are a small residential concrete company in Indianapolis, IN. We've been in business for about 40 years doing mostly driveways, slab homes, sidewalks, and basement floors for new residential homes. Until recent years, we were never really in the decorative market aside from exposed aggregate finishes.

Most of the homebuilders we work for are production builders but occasionally we squeeze in some custom homes. With production builders, it's nothing but plain gray concrete. The ever growing popularity of decorative concrete is sparking many inquiries from new homebuyers. However, most of them don't want to pay $12-$15 per sq ft because they just don't have it. Decorative concrete is expensive due to highly skilled labor and time required. For this reason, we became interested in cheaper alternatives like concrete stains.

Concrete staining and painting is very inexpensive compared to the other decorative methods. So we thought: Why not learn a few things about staining and epoxies and offer it to customers? Then after doing several stain jobs and a few epoxy coatings, we realized it was fairly easy and could be done by the average do-it-yourselfer. Instead of just giving people bids, we began explaining to homeowners how it's done to save themselves more money. Not that we wanted to take work away from ourselves, but pouring concrete is more profitable and we stay busy enough doing that.

Because many of our customers were interested to know about stains and epoxies, we decided to create an informational website. Most related websites just want to sell products or thier services. We wanted to teach people how it's done.
