This first video is simply a slide show that I made to show off what acid stains can do. It can also give you some ideas on what to do with your concrete. Because the options with stains are unlimited, deciding how to make the concrete look can be the most difficult part of the project.

Not only does faux finishing create a beautiful finish, but it also helps hide imperfections in the concrete that acid staining highlights. Faux finish techniques can also be used to fix a poor acid stained floor.

I chose this video because it shows the method of preparation and application that most of us contractors use. You'll see that there's nothing too difficult about it. This is the best method, in my opinion, for staining large floors such as basement floors or garage floors.
