Acrylic Stain Patio
This patio is over 30 years old and was in pretty bad shape cosmetically. It was colored with an acrylic concrete stain. There were many popouts, blemishes, and a broken corner that needed to be fixed. Acrylic stains help hide the repairs. Acid stain would have made the repairs very visible. The tile pattern was scored with a 4"x1/4"x5/8" concrete grinding wheel. Then two coats of water based acrylic stain were applied. After sealing, the lines were rescored to make them white again.
