Q. How can i clean the stain prior to painting?
A. You need to scrub the stain using a mild detergent and rinsing with water. This will get rid of the residue. Before painting, clean again with ammonia diluted with water; 5 parts water:1 part ammonia. This will neutralize the acid for better bonding between the paint and concrete.
