Cobblestone Stencil Overlay
This sidewalk was overlayed using a cobblestone stencil overlay. A coat of gray overlay was applied first to make the mortar joints the deep gray color. Then we used tape to make the brick bands that help hide the control joints in the concrete. The cobblestone stencil was placed and cut to size and then the uncolored overlay applied. After the stencil was pulled off and the mess cleaned up, we applied a light gray acrylic stain. It was sealed with solvent based acrylic sealer.
