Concrete Driveway Finishing

It is highly recommended that concrete driveway finishing be done by someone with experience. It’s a skilled trade and is not as easy as it looks. There is only a small window of time to work the surface of concrete. Once it’s hard, it’s too late to go back and fix it. If you don’t know what you’re doing, there’s a good chance you will end up with a costly mess.

The most common type of concrete driveway finishing is the broom finish. This can be done dragging a broom across the surface after it has been floated or by making a swirl pattern with a hand held broom. Either way, brooming is the recommended finish because of its slip resistance and durability.
