Concrete Overlay Sealer

Application of the concrete overlay sealer is the last step in the process. The sealer enhances, protects, and maintains the overlay.

Anything outside will wear down over time. The sealer will act as the wearcoat. Maintain the sealer by reapplying every 2-3 years

For any exterior overlay, the best sealer is solvent based acrylic sealer.

Roll on two thin coats with a 1/4 inch nap roller.

For added slip resistance, lightly broadcast silica sand onto the first coat while it's still wet. The sealer dries pretty quickly, so you'll need to do it small sections.
