Concrete stain can be used on just about any concrete surface, old or new. This includes patios, porches, sidewalks, driveways, garages, basements, retaining walls, landscape stones, etc. The surfaces must be clean and free from any sealers or paints that may inhibit penetration. Most surfaces will require some prep work before applying stain but well worth the effort to get rid of that dull grey look. For more detailed info:
