The cost of colored concrete will vary depending on the chosen. Some pigments are more expensive to produce than others. Generally, the more intense the color, the higher the cost. If you're paying for the concrete, adding integral color will cost anywhere from 20 to 60% more than uncolored concrete. The ready-mix supplier may also charge an additional fee for truck cleanup which is usually $50 - $100. If you hire a contractor, then it should only add a fraction to the total cost of installation. Colored concrete is mixed, poured, and finsished the same as regular concrete so there is no additional labor cost. Compared to what it would cost to hire another contractor to color or stain the concrete afterwords, the price is pretty reasonable.
