One way to add significant curb appeal to your home is with a decorative concrete driveway, whether it's installed that way or enhanced with overlays. This driveway was installed with stamped concrete borders and accent designs in the middle. The rest is just the normal broom finish. Doing it this way keeps the cost down compared to stamping the entire driveway while still creating character and beauty of stamped applications.
The borders and diamonds were poured first using gray integrally colored concrete and stamped with roman slate texture skins. Before the rest of the driveway was poured, rebar was inserted into the stamped sections to keep it held together. The stamped sections were also covered with plastic to prevent splattering. Then the entire driveway was sealed with solvent based acrylic sealer.
