Driveway Concrete Sealer

The easiest and most common way to cure a driveway is with driveway concrete sealer. It also reduces discoloration that can be caused by alternative curing methods. Because driveways are subject to a lot of abuse from vehicle traffic and weather, curing is a necessary step, especially for exterior concrete in order to achieve maximum surface strength.

The best type of sealer to use is solvent based acrylic concrete sealer. Make sure it is non-yellowing sealer. The ideal method of application is to spray it on as soon as the finishing is done and as evenly as possible. Sealer will keep the surface from drying too fast resulting in crazing, dusting, and ultimately scaling.

Always wear a mask and safety goggles when spraying driveway concrete sealer.
