Epoxy paint was the right choice

by Sharnie
(Texas, USA)

We did Epoxy to our cement garage floor two years ago. We did it ourselves by watching the DVD that came with it. It certainly was a lot of hard work. We had to wash, scrub and rinse our floor to make sure the surface was clean. At that time we thought we made a wrong decision because simply painting the floor would have been easier and quicker. But now we realize that all that hard work was worth it. The floor looks good to this day. We used a fan to blow on the floor while it was drying between cleanings. That shortened up the drying time considerably. In our old house, our garage had regular paint. It was coming off where the car tires rubbed the paint. Epoxy looks much better and has a longer life. I am happy that I made the right choice. It wasn't as expensive in the long run.
