Faux Finish Staining Blending

Blending is a technique of faux finish staining that creates a marbled appearance with the use of two or three colors. The key is to apply the stain with a pump sprayer and spray wet on wet. This technique can be done with acrylic or acid stains.

Do a test run on a piece of cardboard for practice and to see if you like it.

Important:Surface must be neutralized before sealing if acid stains are used.
