Scored concrete smell

Q. What can we do about the strong smell after scored concrete. The smell is strong and we have two children. The contractor states it will go away- at times it get worse.

A. Concrete scoring doesn't cause an odor, at least not a strong odor. It must be something else causing the odor such as a machine being used or a sealer. If it exhaust fumes from a machine or solvents from a sealer then you need to do whatever necessary to get away from it. This question is difficult to answer because I don't know what the smell is.
