Second try with Acid Stain Coat and Sealer

Final Sealed Acid Stain
As a follow up to my original post I promised to make this entry.
We decided the 1st coat of acid stain was not dark enough so applied one more coat of undiluted cola stain. We let this sit on overnight. The following day we neutralized with baking soda/water solution. It took quite a bit of scrubbing and rinsing to remove all the residue. We waited a week to seal with an acrylic satin sealer.
