Slippery floor after painting

by Allen
(Ohio)

We painted our garage floor with a 2 part epoxy system and then put a clear coat of sealer on. The floor looked great but when it would get wet it would be very slippery. The kids would run across the floor, slip and fall. That worried us so we found a solution. There's an additive for paint and sealers that we found at a paint store called shark grip. We mixed it the sealer and put another coat on. Now the floor has texture almost like course sand paper and is much safer now.
