Stamped and Stained Patio
This is an example of a stamped and stained patio. The concrete has a roman slate texture. Instead of adding color before stamping, it was stained hours later with gray and black acrylic stains. You can see how the stain collects in low spots and darkens those areas. This is not the traditional way to color stamped concrete but there's more than one way to do it. It was then sealed with two coats of clear solvent based sealer.
