Q. How long can a concrete slab last until building house step by step?
A. Depending on how fast the concrete sets, it's possible to start building the next day. This is assuming the walls will sit on block or walls that were already in place. I have seen crews start framing a house the day after we installed the slab. However, I do recommend waiting a couple days at least. Better safe than sorry.
