Q. Can I stain and seal my concrete patio as long as temperature is above freezing?
A. According to manufacturer instructions, the temperature should be between 50 and 90 degrees F for best results. However, you can still stain at temperatures lower than that. It just means it will take longer to dry which will alter the final color somewhat. As long as you know it's not going to freeze you will be fine. The sealer takes longer to dry than the stain. You need at least 8 hours of above freezing temps for the sealer to cure properly.
