Choose right paint for job, light traffic or heavy. I say two part 100% solid. Prep is the most important. Hand grind or pay to get shot blast if floor is big or has couple layers to remove down to concrete. Patch all cracks or voids then prime coat. Then the right top coat. Make sure you have everything ready when you start to mix paint. It doesn't last long. Roll out of bucket on small jobs or use squeegee to spread bigger area. Finish back roll with cleats on your feet. I wouldn't mix more then three gallons at time on big jobs. Be sure not to spread all paint out. Leave a puddle line to pour fresh paint back into. Plus trash stays in your puddle not in floor. I wouldn't do more then 1000 ft by yourself unless you have a little more help. You can buy nonskid to put into paint. 8oz per gal. If anything is the most important it would be prep. Everything after that would be a waste epoxy is strong as your prep.
